The Bad News
What is the bad news?
Global financial crisis?
Global Warming?
Terrorism?
Environmental Disaster?
What?
Here is the bad news:
“And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:” Hebrews 9:27
No purgatory
No reincarnation
No second chances!
Are you ready for Judgment Day?
Have you taken the good person test?
Test yourself with the Ten Commandments (see Exodus 20)
Have you lied?
Have you stolen?
Have you hated someone? Jesus consider that as murder
Have you looked with lust? Jesus said if you looked with lust you commited adultery in your heart
If God judges you by that standard are you guilty or not guilty?
Will it be Heaven or Hell?
Listen to your conscience…what does it says to you?
“For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all” James 2:10
“Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin” James 4:17
No liars, thief, murderer and adulterer will inherit the Kingdom of God Revelation 21:8
“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God” Romans 3:23
“As it is written, There is none righteous, no not one” Romans 3:10
But there is GOOD NEWS!
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should no perish, but have everlasting life” John 3:16
“But God commendeth his love toward us, in thatn while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” Romans 5:21
He was buried and after 3 days he rose from the grave.
No religion, no good works, no sincerity, no honesty or prayer will save you.
Salvation is a free gift!
“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and not of yourselves; it is a gift of God: Not by works, lest any man should boast.” Eph. 2:8-9
“Not by works if righteousness which we have done,but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;” Titus 3:5
Will you repent and trust Jesus today?
Repent means to change your mind about sin and turning away from it.
Be sorry for the sins you commit.
Trust is like putting the parachute on.
You may know all about a parachute but if you dont put it on you will not survive the fall.
Please put/trust Jesus today
You might not have tommorrow
Love gives us choices
Either to Reject or Accept
Justice or Mercy
Heaven or Hell
God or Satan
Cry for mercy to God and He will save you
“…whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.” Acts 2: 21
