First and foremost I’m just an ordinary guy who serves an extraordinary God.

I’m Marianito “Nitoy” M. Gonzales, I’m 41 yrs. old,  I’m a government employee, blogger and a freelance translator. My blog has been featured multiple times on Tim Challies Ala Carte and Aquila Report. I contribute articles for iDisciple Philippines, Treasuring Christ PH, Driven by The Gospel and The Network of CRCNA. I’m onboard as a volunteer contributor and translator for Driven by the Gospel and Treasuring Christ PH. I was part of the Filipino translation team of Coronavirus and Christ (John Piper) and currently leading a translation team for Risk is Right (John Piper) that will soon be published by OMF Lit. I facilitated a breakout session for iDisciple Philippines 2020 online conference. I also have been part of various book launch team and a beta reader most notably Humble Calvinism (Jeff Medders), Competing Spectacles (Tony Reinke) and Blogging for God’s Glory in A Clickbait World (Benjamin Vrbicek and John Beeson) in which my response to a questions is included to the appendix).

I’m happily married to Cristy-Ann since December 2016 and father to Agatha Christie. We worship, fellowship and serve at Faithway Community Baptist Church, Sta. Rita, Batangas City.

But all of this, I pray and humbly submit to the sovereignty of God, to use all of this for His purpose, which is to glorify and exalt His name.

Delighting Grace Blog is a collection of articles from my previous campus ministry blog, Bible lessons and Facebook Notes. Prior to that I have been blogging since 2004 and have websites way further.  But of course a new blog means new post. I’ll be posting often new post and please share it to your favorite social media. Although I’m a Calvinist, I feature books, people and events that is within the biblical, evangelical circle. It is my prayer that I through this blog I can exalt Christ and let Him be magnified. This new blog will feature:

1. Interviews with different Christians and their ministry.
2. Bible lessons I wrote and preach in different fellowships.
3. Top list of things biblical and some fun stuff I like.
4. My adventures in digging second hand/used books.
5. A stab on issues that affects Christians.
6. From time to time their be guest (and surprise) bloggers.
