Pinoy Reformed Recap (June 2021)

Here are my top ten favorite social media highlights of Reformed/Calvinist individuals and ministries this June. These includes upcoming events, news, blog post, podcast, books and anything that is worth checking out. Iniskwela Podcast – Pastor Joseph Mangahas of Cubao Reformed Baptist Church has a new podcast. It has a couple of episodes on Youtube and Spotify.

Bakit Ako? by Loida Bauto – I already mentioned it over my freebie round up and I know you guys are readers so it will be cool if you download and read this one. It’s a second book from Loida Bauto a PWD vlogger. You can also read her interview here on my blog by clicking here.

Pilgrim Paideia Press – There’s new publishing house from a homeschooling family in Quezon City. They have two books available for you to order, Fil and Filippa: Story of Child Life in the Philippines by John Stuart Thomson and The Filipino Twins by  Lucy Fitch Perkins.

Need God PH Shopee Store – A ministry here in the Philippines that sells Tagalog translated gospel tracts from Living Waters now has a Shopee store. Aside from the Tagalog gospel tracts, they also include imported products from Living Waters like books, DVD’s, CD’s and T-Shirts with prices that are so so friendly.

A Southern Baptist Story in the Philippines: The Life and Ministry of Henry P. Silbor, 1938-2010 – John Paul L. Arceno wrote this paper and got published over a double peered reviewed journal in the Philippines. You can access and download it here.

Bible Reviews – Looking for new Bibles? Marc Daniel Rivera of KristiyaKnow has reviews of premium Bibles from different US publishers if your eyeing for a new Bible for your preaching and personal use.

A Conversation Between Two Image-bearers Of God – It’s pride month and this post by Novah Sunday got a lot of likes and share. She posted Juilian Red Bautista’s biblical and loving response to a question from a LGBT individual.

Sponsor-Me-Book Program – Puritan Project Philippines “Sponsor Me Book” is now open for Bible students and ministries applicants for it’s book fundraising program. It’s still in it’s experimental stages but with this kind of program folks who can’t afford books will greatly be benefited.

The Expositor’s Academy – The Expositor’s Academy is now offering it’s Expository Preaching and Pastoral Ministry Program. This is a great opportunity for Christians who are called to pastoral ministry because this TEA is going online. Click this link for more information.

Online Reformed Conference – There will be an online conference on August featuring speakers Dr. Charles Lee Irons and Rev. Dr. Carl Trueman. This conference will be hosted by Zion Cornerstone Reformed Churches (Imus). You can check the full details here.
