2 Chronicles 20: 15-17
Lets continue last week lesson on “How God Answers an Impossible Prayer” by looking at vs. 16-17:
“To morrow go ye down against them: behold, they come up by the cliff of Ziz; and ye shall find them at the end of the brook, before the wilderness of Jeruel.
Ye shall not need to fight in this battle: set yourselves, stand ye still, and see the salvation of the LORD with you, O Judah and Jerusalem: fear not, nor be dismayed; to morrow go out against them: for the LORD will be with you.”
1.) It comes with a command (v.16) – With that encouragement and promise God ask us to go. Face the problem we are on. Is it trials over your family, school or maybe spiritual struggle we don’t see solutions? God say “Go and face that problem”. And see how it will be answered God’s might way.
2.) It comes with God being exalted (v. 17) – As you accept encouragement, claims its promises and obey the command, you will see God moves to it. have you seen God working in your impossibilities’. There’s lots of it in our lives that we tend to forget and be thankful for. In the end of it all it is God who will get all the praises not us.
So what are the benefits when God steps in for our impossibilities?
a.) Fears are fleeting as we fear not.
b.) Dismay fades away as we find encouragement from God.
c.) Impossibilities disappear as we find Hope in God.
